The Green BnB
The Green BnB is an eco-friendly guesthouse and center for environmental change based in Verviers, Belgium.
While many organizations and companies focus on one aspect of sustainability, The Green BnB, takes a wholistic approach in a domestic context by helping guests (1) transition to a plant-based diet, (2) consume locally produced goods, (3) choose ethical products that support far away communities and environments, (3) compost food waste, (4) make their own household and personal care products to reduce waste, (5) save money by reducing energy consumption, (6) learn more about renewable energy, (8) promote biodiversity and support pollinators, (7) connect with nature in the Belgian Ardennes and the Hautes Fagnes, (8) meet new people… and dogs, and (9) have fun!

Brico Babe
Brico Babe is a radical new group to empower women with power tools, skills in home renovation, and a community supportive of personal growth.
The construction and home renovation sector is almost entirely comprised of men, yet we all need a home environment that we find comfortable and enjoyable. In Belgium, this male-dominated sector is in shambles. Contractors are unaffordable and many do mediocre work. We need more women to have the skills to take control of their home environment, to renovate their own spaces and carry out essential maintenance. We also need men and women to breakdown the asymmetries of information that enable sub-par contractors to thrive economically. The situation isn't great, but we can make it better!
